Our Approach to SEND
Every child supported to flourish
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can affect a child’s ability to learn. As areas of development are intertwined, a delay in one area can have an impact across others. Early identification and the right support make a real difference.
SEND can affect a child’s ability to socialise, communicate, concentrate, move, understand concepts, and progress across the prime and specific areas of development. No two children with SEND are alike, and we don’t treat them as if they were.
Our practitioners continually observe children and track their learning and development. This allows us to identify any areas for concern in a timely and effective manner — and to act on them, rather than waiting.
Our purpose-built, single-storey setting is fully accessible to all children. Wide doors, ramped access, accessible toilets and spacious rooms mean no child is excluded by the environment.

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is Jenni J, Senior Practitioner and SENCO. Jenni leads our SEND provision and is your first point of contact for any concerns about your child’s development or support needs.
